Appearance
Image
  • Cyrus is a handsome, light tan-skinned male in his early-20s with long golden tresses that's tapered to fit his face, crystal blue eyes that pierce the souls of those who gaze upon him, and smooth skin with spots of body hair. He usually has a clean-shaven face, though he is known to sport facial hair if given the chance.

Cyrus is 6' 1", approximately 215 pounds, physically fit, and maintains an exercise routine. Keeping himself in shape is important for two reasons. He must maintain the facade that he is an everyday average man, and he must be able to overpower his victims. Furthermore, a lot of Cyrus' death-dealing activities require a lot of dragging, heavy lifting, and occasionally the chasing of someone, so he can't afford to be out of shape.

    Update:
After the events on Here, Haldir had to undergo cosmetic necromantic surgery to change his appearance after killing an argent knight during the nameless massacre. As such the new appearance is as followed. He now has gained a mesomorphic body thanks to the skills of his father in necromancy, allowing him to pack on muscle and size rather easily. Haldir has a rather imposing figure gaining a few more inches bringing him to stand at 6'4". He is rather built and is said to embody what masculinity is supposed to look like.

He has smooth porcelain skin, given a very nice down patch chest hair, and a happy trail. He has auburn hair now that he either keeps in a crew cut, or allows it to be somewhat messy, which is his signature hairstyle, as it compliments his facial structure. He has full, even eyebrows that sit above light blue eyes that catch the stare of many that look upon him. He has a smooth straight nose that fits into his symmetrical face topped off with a strong jawline.

His physique is built to perfection. He has broad shoulders that accentuate his large well-built chest. His legs and butt are well built as well which also accentuates his small waist, but has been strengthened during the reconstruction, giving a well-defined eight-pack & obliques. He has made an effort to keep his body in excellent condition and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Personality
  • Cyrus is a dangerous monster born of tragic circumstances, though what makes him dangerous isn't that he is a monster, but that he is one hiding in plain sight. Calm and calculated, Cyrus is nihilistic in a sense, feeling that the ends justify his means and everything eventually becomes nothing.

Though unlike most serial killers, Cyrus shows great signs of restraint. For example, although Cyrus has no qualms to killing those he feels are a danger to society; a sickness, and the well-being of others, he absolutely refuses to kill with medicine and has never once done so, not even when it was his most viable option. He is also very disgusted with those who are impulsive and desperate.

History
  • I honestly can't say what my life before meeting the Faust family was like, I was too young to really remember. My parents were killed when I was only three years old, fleeing from Daravin and oppression. It was upon my arrival in Lorien that I found salvation. With no one to protect me, I was within the care of a slaver, one who specialized in child slaves.

It was as we were passing through the capital of the city that my freedom was secured. A woman, an elegant woman who oozed grace stopped us, singling me from the group of children. She scooped me into her arms, with all the love a mother could give in her eyes. It was at that moment, I felt safe for the first time since my parents were killed.

Regina Von Faust, the wife of Nicoli Von Faust, bought my freedom, though if she had anything to say about it, it was a "Private Adoption. I lived a good life, wanting for nothing and enjoying what the life of a wealthy family had to offer. The Faust family were world mages, delving into the arcane arts such as Articify, Necromancy, and the like. But what many didn't know was that they also held a personal rune as well. Regina used Mentalism, whereas Nicoli was a practitioner of Bane, it's how I earned my magic.

At a young age, I was shown to appreciate the beauty in life by my new mother, mostly through medicine, as Regina was a doctor in a way. She was my everything, my rock. From three up til age thirteen, I was glued to my mother's hip, learning the art of medicine and appreciating the beauty in aiding others. It was during this time she had given me the Rune of Semblance, which would allow me to read other auras to better help soothe their ailments.

I especially loved to help her with her medicine at the family clinic in the capital. One day, however, my world changed. The clinic was robbed, and Regina was killed during the robbery. It destroyed me, as she was my world. That wasn't to say that I and Nicoli weren't close, but my bond with her was tighter, deeper. I became depressed, recluse, and shut away from the world.

That's when Nicoli came to me, he found the culprit who killed Regina, the one responsible for taking her away from us. I jumped at the chance to unleash the pent up emotion. To my surprise, the murderer was one of her patients, I remembered him very well. I couldnt believe it and my rage exploded. Taking the first thing off the wall I hit the men over the head, but Nicoli stopped me from finishing him.

He had a better idea in mind, showing me Affliction for the first time. Nicoli proposed we make him suffer, and I agreed. For seven days we kept him in pure agony. That was my first taste of torturing, and Nicoli said I was a born natural. I learn the basics of torturing during those seven days, and by the final day, Nicoli gave me the Rune of Bane. My first taste of the power was ending the murderer's life.

I wish I could say I regretted it, but I didn't as it was the moment I became who I am now. It was also the moment I realized that mortals were infected by a vicious disease. Greed, selfishness, arrogance, all ailments of the mortal conditions. I have taken it upon myself to cure this condition, one sick patient at a time.

"Mortals are nothing more than a disease, one that festers and spread like a cancer"

          Height: 5'9"
          Weight: 145lbs

          Occupation: Spy, Former Prostitute
          Relation to PC: Companion, Accomplice
          NPC Type: Companion
          Influence: 6

          Description:
          • Were to begin. Cullen was born in lower Nivenhian. He was always a happy child, well for a while he was. At age 10 his mother was beaten to death by his drunk of a father, after which Cullen spent the next 4 years under his father's abuse, causing him to develop extreme trust issues. It was at age 15 had finally had enough and ran away from home, but not before setting the place ablaze, his drunk of a father trapped inside. From age 15 to age 17 he was homeless, doing everything he could to survive.

When he turned 18, he found himself selling his body for food among other things, along with some other boys & girls who shared the same tortured upbringing as him. They were just drawn to him, eventually making him their so-called leader. He was always in trouble with the local peasants in the low city, so much so the local knights knew him by name.

It was not the easiest life but it was one that he had come accustomed to, making sure his fellow street orphans were taken care of. One day he found himself in quite a predicament. One of the girls in his group was being harassed by a group of drunken men, Cullen coming to her rescue, only to find himself outnumbered. He was beaten within an inch of his life that night, and just as things looked grim, a ray of hope appeared.

A doctor had stumbled onto the scuffle and used a single bullet to end the beating. The drunks were scared more than anything and ran off. The man that saved Cullen was looked like an angel through his swollen eyes, his long golden hair obscuring the man's face as he was tending to the wounds of both Cullen and the girl.

Cullen was shocked yet intrigued by the act of kindness shown to him by the stranger, and a fascination began to grow. Cullen would always be seen out of the corner of the doctor's eye, following him wherever he went, causing the doctor to be amused by him. Eventually, the good doctor confronted Cullen, introducing himself as Cyrus Von Faust.

Ever since then Cullen has been at Cyrus' side whenever possible, owing the man his life and the life of his friends.

          Race: Human
          Age: 48
          Height: 5' 9"
          Weight: 145lbs

          Occupation: Politician, Merchant
          Relation to PC: Aunt, Mentor
          NPC Type: Personal
          Influence: 4

Description: Cereza is a mature and collected woman. Intelligent and elegant, she appreciates the value of patience and planning, though is known through the Ludren political scene to be fierce and uncompromising. Though their marriage into Lorien Nobility was arranged, she genuinely loved her husband and did everything in her power to help shoulder his ambition before his passing, picking up the mantle as the head of the house.

To her friends and loved ones, she is quite generous and can be quite nurturing to those younger. Despite her impeccable composure, Lady Monteliyet has been shown to be quite sarcastic at times and will openly chastise those who act selfishly or insensitively. She also has little patience for those who underestimate her as well as any chauvinistic attitudes in general. She takes great pride in her skills and learned abilities and can tackle anything that comes her way just like any man could.

Cereza is known to be a very persuasive and empathetic speaker in political or social settings, especially during times of war such as now. She will never follow blindly and her inquisitive nature causes her to question authority when warranted. She is both reliable and determined and never backs down from what she believes to be the right course of action despite objections from those closest to her. She speaks her mind with confidence and has earned her place among the Ludren Elite. Cereza is known as fearless when she refused additional security to protect herself from assassins after her husband's death.
