Apprentice Quirk: Aetherial Rebound

Leliana's first Transposition quirk has manifested through the instinctive desire for her Rune to protect her from all angles. When Blinking, connection between the nodes can be stretched taut like a rubber band. Upon arriving at the opposite point, this tension is released in a concussive blast of ethereal energy as space collapses onto itself. This may knock back objects and enemies in her wake, effectively clearing a path for her or others.

Particularly heavy foes or objects may withstand the rebound unless they are already off balance or unfocused, and her Rune does not distinguish friend from foe. Therefor utilizing this quirk has the risk of injuring allies just as much as enemies, so using it must be done with forethought.

Short distance Blinking under 50 feet has no rebound regardless. Longer ranges over 50 feet are where the rebound begins to be felt to any real extent, knocking back individuals, small numbers of tightly packed enemies, and at maximum distance everyone within an approximately 10 foot radius. The ability's reach is limited to what Leliana can see with the naked eye, making rebound impossible beyond that. This can cause additional stress on her mind and body when used though, making overstepping inevitable after blinking under these conditions several times within a short amount of time.

As her energy depletes the rebound's impact decreases and ultimately disappears altogether until she has had several days to recover, during which time she can only Blink normally for short distances under 50 feet. When suffering particularly strong or prolonged bouts of Threshold Sickness, her ability to Blink in any way is completely suspended until she recoups.
