Bloodforger
Apprentice - Inkblood

Just as Vesper the cat is a dark, black-furred feline, so shall his blood be so with the cosmetic changes of this mutation. In fact, it is the blackest vantablack reflecting no light, hot from light absorbing properties yet not so much as to be burning to the touch. This applies to any blood he manipulates or conforms into objects with his magic, darkening it to such an unnatural color as to be obvious in its truths. By extension the pale skin beneath his fur has turned an ashen grey. Furthermore, he takes sole possession of this blackened blood, cutting ether costs for Bloodshaping in half while making it twice as costly to manipulate once the blood has been given just one hour to settle which mitigates his ability to use these fonts of blood as batteries. This specialization in Bloodshaping also comes with the severe caveat that he never develops the abilities of Hemorrhage nor Blood Torrent.

Journeyman - Craft Blotting

Vesper's Bloodshaping is beyond the norm. Any blood he shapes is exceptionally denser than what is natural, the pitch black blood hardening to twice the durability of what is normally possible. This property makes his Bloodshaping take more than half again as much time to produce, the process slower and weightier so as to necessitate more focus; this is not something he can easily do in the heat of battle.

Apprentice - Forging Atrocities

Much of Vesper's functionality with active Blood Magic begins to wane in favor of permanent solutions that necessitate planning and preparation. Suffuse is utterly non-existent when applied to blood currently being manipulated, but he may still settle and magnify these suffused properties within blood that has been specifically Bloodshaped. Thrice more potent is the sharpness, acidity, and combustibility of his Suffused blood.

Expert - Gore Smelter

All those bits and pieces to do with a dead body become another form of blood to Vesper. Bone and muscle without soul both fizzle away to fetid black pools of what is functionally blood, easily called upon by his abilities. This extends his blood supply from a body to twice the usual amount with a very small ether cost in facilitating the conversion. Visually, the corpse or bits and pieces begin to disintegrate into a growing pool, blackness stretching up the material. This can take several seconds, and as such is not to be used in the thick of conflict. Due to this ability, he never develops Bloodfury, further denied yet another offensive tool.

Master - Despot

Taking Puppeteer in an entirely different direction, Vesper has instead developed the ability to reach out through his Bloodshaped objects and constructs remotely, effectively extending the range of the few Blood Magic abilities he does have through them. If he can visually see or sense a target near one of his constructs at any distance, he can extend his magic through it remotely, effectively allowing him to apply any of the following concepts or abilities through his Bloodshaped objects and constructs: Leeching, Sacrifice, Infusion, Sway, Suffuse, Razor, Exchange, Bile Construct, and of course Bloodshaping. He may similarly Puppeteer any Bloodshaped golem or construct with operable physiology to act and sense through it, but he may never Puppeteer another person in the usual way.
