Animus Motif: Logos

The vessel is a shifting construct located beneath the cover of reality. Once you attain the power of Animus and begin to understand your own biology, it becomes clear that enacting the magic is much like an argument of reason and logical progression over a structure which you now control.

Apprentice Quirk: Skull Face

Within every form Feris takes, there is a feature so integral to his sense of identity that he can never rid himself of it: the bone mask. It will follow his forms fused to his face, sometimes shifting in shape to match the features of the animal, or willfully subdued into a white overlay of fur or scale upon his upper jaw and face.

Journeyman Quirk: Misanthrope

Feris can feel it when another observes him. Be it by sight, scent, touch, or sound. It is automatic, primal, and instinctual, a pronounced tingle that may lead to a shiver that he has entered the awareness of another. This feeling dims as he stays within the conscious purview of another, but he will feel it again when someone else observes him. This also applies to nearby non-magical runoff closely related to him, like his shadow or footprints. This can make it extremely uncomfortable to traverse public spaces, as every eye upon him will quickly overwhelm without strict discipline. He cannot tell by this feeling alone who is observing him, or what, nor where they originate from.

Expert Quirk: Argua

Driven by his own biology and social patterns, a fascination with animal language has amounted to the ability for Feris to emulate the calls, body language, and scent of any creature he has imprinted upon, even when not in that form. Animals of all walks may thus more easily be won over as if he were one of their own, provided he can position himself well within the social hierarchy of whatever creature it may have been. This development does not come without its caveats. Feris will find animal noises such as growls, chirps, or squawks have begun to creep subconsciously into his normal speech, drawn from the creatures he has imprinted upon.
