Apprentice Quirk: Burning Bond
Leliana's Reaving Rune has become increasingly bound to her well-being, as it is the first inscribed on her skin by her father, somewhat imbued with an echo of his strong paternal instinct. The Pact weapons that she manifest seem to have a mind of their own with a desire to only be wielded by her or an incredibly close and trusted companion. If picked up by a stranger or enemy, the weapon will quickly grow white hot until it burns the hand of its target then return to her or disappear if she is unable to wield it.
This heat can effectively melt through most coverings that might be protecting the enemy's fingers, but if not still causes a searing pain until the victim physically lets go. In order for a weapon not to harm another individual that touches it they must be given express permission by Leliana to wield it, nonverbal or otherwise, the Rune itself must recognize that person as a true ally if permission cannot be given, or they must have a strong affinity for heat and fire.
If the weapon is unable to retaliate effectively it will still dismiss itself immediately or return to Leliana, refusing to be wielded by any foe.
