♅ Joining The Remedy/The Black Sigil ♅
♅ Noted in his backstory, Constantine's family were attacked and murdered the night of his 16th birthday. Ever since that incident, He has struggled with trying to find out who had his parents killed and why. In time he became a vigilante living in Brandt till things have gotten too much to remain there.
In the current year, he has found himself in the capital looking for answers. The plot I wish to inquire about running for Constantine is to tie his parents' deaths into him joining the Black Sigil/Remedy. ♅
♅ While in the capital, Constantine stumbles upon a lead to what he believes to be the ones responsible for his parents' death. Rumors fly around about a man who came into money after doing a "lucrative job. After some investigation with the help of one of his brothel patrons and friend, Constantine confronts said the man to learn that he is apart of the mercenary band that was contracted to slay the Monteliyets.
After torturing information out of him, Constantine decides to take down this said mercenary band in order to learn of the reason why his family was targeted. doing some more digging and searching, Constantine finds and dispatches the mercenary band one by one. When he confronts and kills the leader, he finds documents in the man's quarters detailing the attack and instructions.
He also learns of the ones behind the attack....the Dranoch. Wracked in turmoil of the revelation, he seeks to learn all he can about these mysterious beings that saw to it to kill his family.
Returning to his family home he finds the journal of his mother, tucked away in a secret compartment in the master bedroom. Upon learning the secret of his mother’s past, he seeks out help of a contact of his mother♅
Emphasis on forming a stronger reason; the Dranoch do indeed suck but wanting to overthrow the government of Sil-Elaine is something that generally comes from centuries of suffering beneath their thumb. Dranoch are not solely the reserve of Sil-Elaine and Constantine will need more reason to hate them than just the actions of one or a few, imo, in order to justify dedicating his life to the Remedy.
