All that must be done for the act of war is by necessity. Jingoistic rhetoric has charged Jean with the need to adapt and overcome at any cost, his own personal struggles magnified. Every failure is crippling in his world, and he must not show weakness. The creativity born of this need is often as rough and repulsive as it is divine beneath the gaze of Ulen's majesty. Jean pulls roughly at his magic, resulting in Quirks that derail the integrity of his Templates for use in eking out an edge from the rampant self destruction he imposes through study.
