Plot Request: A Calling Beyond Mortal Understanding

Hello, I would to place a prelude plot request; I am happy to make some discussion how to approach the plot and clarify on points to help move the plot forward!

Plot Request Idea: Jared would start to develop vague memories of a random location that is calling him to be discovered. With no where to start other than these vague memories or even hints of world. This would lead Jared to travel across many countries for a researching & delving into these strange memories that would lead him on a long chase to further understand what these memories are and possibly answering why these memories, dreams & brief moments lucid chattering in his dreams are targeting the Alistian petty thief. Whether the thief would need break into private libraries, make connections with various people or uncovering conspiracies; this plot is about Jared discovering more about himself & leaving the nest or comfort of his home.

OOC Information:

• The plot request is for the prelude for Jared to discover his divine connection with Saren, The Empty Defiler;
• Eventually would lead to Jared becoming a Draedan once the necessary requirements are made (Will make a separate Support Forum Request when that time arrives);
• Plot length-wise I am happy for it go for many seasons longs as it might require Jared to learn new languages, developing skills and making connections with PCs & NPCs alike from across the world.

Your plot request is provisionally approved. Its overall plot and structure make sense and are lore congruent. Jared is a good candidate for the plot you wish to craft, as well.

Rather than approving the entire thing in one go, why don't we approve it in parts? Let's go over the prelude and get that going so you can start working toward that in Frost.

Story Prelude: Foreign Forlorn Dreams, Memories & Emotions;

General Basis of the Plot: During one of Jared’s nights while he is recovering from his injuries from his encounter with Dahlia in Amoren; bouts of sharp fevers, uncontrollable muscle spasms & delirium sets afoot as Jared’s Mageblight takes a toil on his body & psyche; possibly in a prolonged coma as his body tries to heal under the care of a Necrodoctor.

As the thief continues to dream in his sleep which consists mostly of a world of blackness; Fragments, shards, pieces of a broken door or whatever can be used to symbolize some sort of emotion or possibly even his passage to reach his Divine Spark starts to drift about. While not a Remanomancer himself, the space that his dream or state he was in was essentially having him walk through a maze of sorts, passing through someone’s else's thoughts, memories & emotions though the scene might be different like a concurrent timeline of sorts.

As the dreams intensify so too does the foreign sensations, memories & even raw emotions start to run rampant as if he was experiencing someone else’s personal life. It would be too much to bear that would immediately bring him back to the living reality.

But before doing so, possibly a flash of imagery, a phrase or even something as vague as a person causes Jared to start researching, possibly collecting allies & enemies to discover what these dreams are, why is even receiving such dreams and may/will lead the thief to leave his homeland: Daravin, to foreign places in the large world he calls home, finding out his purpose or calling.

• Where is Jared going?
• What will he be doing?
• Who will he need help from?
• What will be his reward at the end of part one?

How many plotted threads will this part entail?

• I would say that between 1-2 would be sufficient; I would like the plotted threads for the Prelude to act more as goal post with a season period of so dedicated to adjust the new landscape, language & developing the necessary research skills & social skills to allow him to continue on the next leg of the race;
• Part: I will be gathering rumors, notes, travel documents or whatever investigation/researching Jared is able to collect to make the final designation to start his travel towards Lorien;
• Part: 2 will focus on gathering rumors & information in Lorien, figuring out what he was dreaming and if there are any vague documents or notes he could use to lead him to the next goal post within his journey;

Where is Jared going?

• I was thinking of Jared heading to Lorien as the final destination as a potential stop to develop the necessary research skills for when Jared would need to search for the next leg of the race.
  What will he be doing?
• Initially Jared would be planning to figure out where a wealth of knowledge & resources would allow him presuit these vague memories. Possibly one of the plotted threads can be based in Daravin, acting as a guide post to send him on his merry way towards Lorien.

Who will he need help from?

• If possible a Mentor and/or a Scholar would be helpful, because despite being a hard-working person. There are going to be a couple of road blocks when it comes to the academic pursuit & most of Jared’s skillset leans heavier into the streetwise category.

What will be his reward at the end of part: One?

• A piece of solidified information to work on; Whether it is documentations, a book/journal or even a cryptic message in the form of a relic. This would lead Jared to start delving deeper to make his next journey available.
