Salen was back in Boghadar to see an old friend, although it appeared that things were different. It felt as if he was missing a piece inside of him, like his loving Tiberius. He figured he could sneak into Degare's old house and surprise him with a visit, and perhaps some help. He had alot on his mind, wondering who had murdered his lover, Tiberius.
He wished he could've made the decision to leave Daravin and go somewhere else, but he was far too deep in a war of his own making. He sighed as he remained perched upon the rooftops, letting the beautiful moonlight dazzle his skin in hues of blue and silver. He channelled his ether to create a Compass, before moving the black mass behind him, forming it into something. A black, dusky cloud would form behind him as if they had taken the form of wings. This was the form of his Shepherd, an umbraplasmic mass designed for Nightfallen to fly.
He narrowed his eyes as he watched from the rooftops, seeing the peak of Degare's tower. He leaped from the highest point of the rooftops and swan dived, as he reached barely touching the floor, he then controlled his Shepherd to take flight, passing others at regulatative speed. The vanishing umbraplasm could be seen as a dark cloud of smoke in the distance. He had taken flight, but never felt so free in his life and yet it wasn't perfect. Salen would wobble everytime, knowing that he wasn't exactly in control of his own momentum; the clumsy shaking back and forth and trying to balance his body against the currents meant that there was practice achieving.
He flew his way towards the tower of Degare's room, before clumsily latching himself onto the window, crawling through the tight crevice knowing himself that it wasn't the smoothest flying session he had, perhaps there was room for greater improvement. His Shepherd dissipated fully and yet he was looking around to what appeared to be an empty room "Degare?" He asked as he took a step forth through his bedroom to find empty pages and the findings of a new Veir house here.
House Syngari.
"Fuck... Dahlia must have gotten hold of you too..." He frowned only to be haunted by the thoughts of his lost lover yet again. It was perhaps an incredibly lonely time for him, even if Corvo were deemed to be selfish, they still were human. They had emotions, just as everyone has desires. Except he didn't know what he wanted anymore, other than two things.
Justice and Revenge.
