To Kill a Coiling Viper Ⅰ
Searing 83rd, Year 120, A.o.S

The sun of the day had come and was waking the residents of Alfsos with its rays. The light of the sun refracted off of an object that was held high over Koto's face. He just couldnt stop starring at it, the dagger, that is. It was ornate, with a weird insignia on it. It was light in his hand as he twirled the dagger around his fingers. It also came with a numerous amount of questions too.

Who left it? Was whoever left it watching him that entire time? Why the hell was everyone targeting him? There were far too many questions that this tiny little blade came with. Questions he would get the answers to.

Sojin had him confined to the room at the inn for the last three days since that incident. He wasnt sure why Sojin was worked up about it all. He didnt know what to expect as far as what he would be told if asked. He wasnt sure why someone was targetting him, here of all places. It was nerve-wracking having to go through this again.

Koto was eager to speak with Sojin after having time to think about certain things, things he didnt understand, things he did. But most of all he had time to settle on one thing in particular, and for that, he needed his guardian to return back to the inn. He sat nervously as he was unsure if Sojin would even be willing to even speak to him or share what he knew.

Then again the veteran warrior knew how to tell what he felt like sharing and it would be like pulling teeth in trying to any information. Either way, his hands were clammy and his left leg restless as he waited for his trusted guardian to return. Sometime later he could hear footsteps coming up the stairs.

As they came down the hall, Koto refused to be caught off guard this time, taking Kusanagi in his hand and moved to be behind the door. Unsheathed and tightly gripped in the viper's hand he waited, his heart beating fast with each step as they neared the door. As it flew open, Koto held the blade forward only for it to be parried, Sojin's gauntlet deflecting the blade.

"Easy there, calm your nerves little viper, I'm not your enemy." he noted, Koto letting out a sigh. Sheathing his sword he moved back to the bed, looking to Sojin as he watched the man lock up behind him. He waited for a few moments, then cleared his throat.

Sojin turned to look at the viper with a concerned look. "No need to hold your tongue, speak to me Koto." he insisted, placing his bag down and sitting in a chair. Koto came to sit in the other next to him and looked Sojin dead in his face.

"Show me the note, I wanna know what it says."he demanded, determined to get his answers from him. Sojin smirk, be it briefly and took the note from within his jacket pocket. "Just remember you ask to see this." he warned, sliding it toward the young noble.
