Seasonal Events: Glade 121
To all Lorien players: here are the major events occurring in Lorien, in the Season of Glade, Year 121.

14th of Glade - The Impasse
A period of relative peace falls upon the divided realm, as a result of both sides recuperating from recent battles and losses. During this time of peace, public messaging becomes the focus of both sides of the civil war -- with the rebels speaking of life after the Kindred, and the oppression and division they cause, while the Omen speaks of the destructive and destabilizing nature of the rebels, as well as their brutality. They lay the blame of the Breven Uprisings on the rebellion, and the death of Catherine Florent.

35th of Glade - The Tele Innovation of Westfalen
A famed inventor from Westfalen, West End, named Theresa Meinau develops the first working "speaking tube", sometimes called "the blower", "the horn" or - unconventionally - the telephone. Though a fledgling technology, imperfect and requiring the usage of complicated dials operated by trained individuals, the telephone quickly spreads among the upper Nobility. It becomes the main method of long-distance communication within the rebellion, and particularly Brandt and the West End, allowing for messages that cannot be intercepted by the Kindred. The telephone is, however, an incredibly expensive and complex tool at this point in its development, and therefore is not distributed to the public.

53rd of Glade - Vera Ails
The Queen, Vera Revenlow, becomes inconsolable. With Franz leaving to join the rebellion, and her daughter becoming gruesomely executed in Breven, Vera's condition worsens rapidly in the months between Frost and mid-Glade. While Vera becomes deeply ill early in the season of Glade, she becomes deathly so throughout the warming months. On the fifty-third of the season, Vera and her loyal Knights manage to slip her from Castle Wight, where she speaks to a local publication to unveil her grievances. Vera informs them of the stranglehold the Kindred has built over the crown, she denounces House Florent for failing to protect her daughter, and calls for Annalise to resign as the Archlector of Nivenhain for fomenting division within the Kingdom. Despite the publication being stamped with her royal seal, it is immediately discredited by the Omen and the King, and it is claimed that Vera has not left Castle Wight since the death of her daughter.

70th of Glade - The Lietzau Documents, Part Two
In response to the widely distributed, and widely believed publication of Vera's words, Franz Revenlow publishes a variety of allegations against the Omen and details his and his family's experiences with the Kindred. He claims the royal family has been held hostage for decades - even centuries - and unveils generations-long documentation of the horrific abuses by the Kindred against House Revenlow. His and Vera's words cause an immense swing of support for the rebellion, and riots occur across the Kingdom's largest cities, particularly Gothenburg, Lienburg, Nivenhain and Amhern. Many Knights - who swear their loyalty first to the crown - perform a direct assault on the Chantry Overlook, attempting to execute Annalise Florent. The Knights are defeated and killed, though the result is a massive shift in public opinion against the Omen. Protests and riots only worsen, and strict national laws are declared, only bolstering the belief that the Omen is fundamentally repressive.

79th of Glade - Gothenburg Rebels
Gothenburg, a city largely populated by Koltoskan naturalized immigrants and holding a particular loyalty towards House Baringer, is the site of some of the most horrific and violent riots in the Kingdom. After a week-long effective siege on the Omen strongholds within the city, a group of Koltoskan Knights and Chevaliers overtake the Gothenburg Chantry, culling the Archlector of the East End and slaughtering the Omen's agents and clergy en masse. The Lord of the city, Geralt Baringer - heir to the Duchy - declares a revolt against the Omen, demanding that Von Rabe be culled. While the Duke and Duchess are commanded to denounce him and the riots, they refrain from doing so, and withdraw from the public eye.

86th of Glade - Hostilities Resume
Despite relative 'peace' for the majority of Glade, the toppling of Gothenburg's theological order results in the Kindred assaulting the city directly. In response, a large contingent of the Covenant and Pact's most powerful mages come to the city's defense, and an all-out war ensues over the fate of the East End's second largest city. Thousands of civilians are killed by endless Kindred assaults, though Von Rabe is still yet to be seen. It is said that the rebellion has acquired a weapon even he fears: a Krish Harbinger, causing the Frost Lord to maintain his distance.
