Appearance
While large to some, Mímir is on the slightly smaller side compared to the rest of the Hati Clan. They have dark brown hair that shows blonde hues when the light strikes it right. Their eyes are almost completely a pale blue hue, similar to the color of a frozen snow covered lake. Mímir has a neat full beard. Unlike some of the clans the Hati are more kempt with their body hair. Tattoos run the length of their arms and cover the upper third of their torso.

Clothing wise, Mímir can usually be found wearing pants befitting a tinkerer i.e. lots of pockets and loops for holding parts and tools, and a fitted linen shirt or leather jerkin.

Personality

Mimir is akin to the sensitive artist. While not the greatest at drawing they like the release it brings from the past memories that project in their mind's eye. They spend a lot of time outside of work tinkering with ways to capture images quickly in the moment that are more accurate than their drawings. The thought being that in will bring some sort of relief in their next life.

Socially they are quite awkward, but knows how to be civil and hold conversation well with anyone whether it be a member of the Hati, a customer, or stranger on the street. This ability bodes well with carrying several casually romantic flings with people they consider friends.

The side others often don't see during the quiet hours is one of brooding. Generally stemming from recurring existential crises. The source of is the curse of the Hati and wondering what it'd be like to not be rebirthed.


History

After returning to the mainland in Radenor the Hati Clan broke away from the larger clans. They saw what the others were becoming. Ravenous, bloodthirsty. The fighting spirit, however, could not so easily be tempered in the Hati. They developed competitive games heavily infused with violence to satiate their thirst, then placed their desire for conquest into honing prosperous skills. They settled in the outskirts with their reputation preceding them. Making it difficult to start, but eventually people began doing business with them. Their prices were cheap for excellent craftsmanship.

Towards the end of The Age of Ashes is when Mimir was firstborn. As is custom with the Hati, their firstborn name was something trivial. Often a weather occurrence or some wildlife present at the time of birth. This signifies ttheir first cycle of life and they get named in earnest upon their first rebirth. Mimir was named after a deity of memory because upon their first rebirth recovery they were found feverishly drawing things in which seemed like vivid memories. While excellent record keepers, such memories aren't normally present in the reborn.

This gift, as some would call it, was often a source of envy for other members of the tribe. Mimir often felt like an outcast, even to the extent of longing for final rest. With the encouragement of some other members they chose to venture to Daravin, even offering to relocate with them. So they traveled and settled close, yet separately, in Alistian.
