[Memory] How to Train Your Druskai

Memories
It had been months since Deimos last heard from Penny. The little device he created years before worked well enough for short distances, but once he strayed too far from the coastline, getting word to and from the paired device became impossible. In his frustration, Deimos decided to take what little knowledge he had and expand upon it. And there seemed to be only one place to do such at this point:
Starkwayte.
Unfortunately, Starkwayte is in the Imperial territory of Grisic, nearly a week's journey from his camp in Tyrclaíd. He needed to find a caravan at the very least, as the group he traveled with up to that point wasn't heading in that direction. It didn't take long for him to come up with a plan, however. As night fell, he waited until all lantern lights were out and the lookout patrolled far enough away from the camp. With deft hands, he untied one of the horses from the makeshift hitching rail. As quietly as he could, he mounted the horse and held on for dear life as he kicked it into a run.
Deimos was long gone before the rest of the caravan realized what happened. Not even the lookout noticed until Deimos and the horse was well out of sight. I hope they don't try to kill me for this, was all the druskai could think as he galloped from the camp.
Eventually, Deimos reached Starkwayte. It took longer than he expected as he became more preoccupied with finding water for both him and the horse. Once he entered the city, however, he made a note at the gate that the horse belonged to someone else and he didn't know how to return it. He entrusted the horse to the guard and gained directions to the library.

Something went wrong on the fifth wing. Calibrating...

I may have figured out the Nexus up to 8 wings. A base stabilizer was needed and thus created. So far, experimentations have proven...unstable but promising.
It starts with a circle, then a diamond with the circle at its edges. Then a square to the inside edges of the circle, and a second circle inside that square.
Once that base is established, there are multiple ways to create this base. The following geometry determines the intent:
☐ stability, strength, solidity
◊ above/below dynamic, flexibility, energy
△ solid, upward, knowledge
▽ grounded, downward, spirit
◯ order, harmony, protection
⎔ upright, depth, serenity
⌂ reality, wholeness, harmony
⛉ spirit, psychic, physical
Along with these geometrics, ink hues and creation processes may affect the order of intent, whether in the first, second, or tertiary code. Such inks work as follows:
Metal | Property | Color | Process | Meaning |
🜫 Antimony | strength | Blue-white | 🝞 Sublimate | Control |
🜺 Arsenic | damage | Grey | 🝟 Precipitate | Haste |
🜠 Copper | balance | Red | 🝠 Distill | Reduce |
🜚 Gold | spirit | Gold | 🝡 Dissolve | End |
🜜 Iron | strength | Black | 🝢 Water | Base |
🜪 Lead | grounded | Silver-blue | 🝣 Purify | Cleanse |
⚩ Magnesium | ascension | White | 🝤 Putrefy | Decay |
¥ Phosphorus | purity | Clear | ☊ Ascend | Spirit |
☽︎☉ Platinum | determination | Silver-white | ☋ Descend | Body |
🜛 Silver | intuition | Silver | 🝋 Powder | Grind |
🜍 Sulfer | upward | Yellow | 🝆 Oil | Fuel |
🜩 Tin | life | Silver-grey | 🝈 Tincture | Extract |
🝍 Zinc | air | White-grey | 🝛 Amalgam | Combine |
This would appear as a triangle using ink made of putrefied iron within the geometrics of the nexus. This will need further study.
