To: Milana Terras
From: Elinora Barnell
Sent: Searing 2nd, 120th Age of Steel (Arrival: Searing 8th)

Dear Milana,

Greetings and best wishes to you and your clan, and I hope that the Searing weather remains fair over in Grimholdt. After the plague that has wracked your subjects, I can only hope that the general health continues to improve overall. You're probably not aware of this, but I used to be born of Clan Asmund; before my new Kinship with my husband at least. I'm reaching out to you on the matter of a business proposal, as I am actively involved in the business of running an inn. Should you or anyone of the Terras find yourselves in Alfsos, we would be honored to serve as hosts for you and your clan.

I had also recently been reminded of the fact your clan grows tea and other herbal anodynes, an impressive accomplishment that actually pertains to the business proposal I've hinted at before. By the time this letter reaches you, one of my own sons will be on his way to visit; so that he can discuss the finer points of the agreement with you. What I'm hoping to ask for is, essentially, a means of supplying tea for our business in Alfsos; the Silver Lion Inn. While we serve many beverages to choose from, it just so happens that we've yet to find ourselves a supplier for tea.

Tea would be a beloved staple among our peers at the Academy, as I'm sure you can imagine plenty of patrons would benefit from drinking it; instead of the alcoholic beverages we serve daily. My son will be honored to personally visit you in Grimholdt, and I'm certain you will find his character agreeable come the matter of business. Until then I look forward to hearing the news of the arrangement, and pray for your clan and my own in these testive times. May the Old Ones watch over you, as they do with us all.

Elinora Barnell
