Seasonal Events: Searing 4622
To all Lorien players: here are the major events occurring in Lorien, in the Season of Searing, Year 4622.

1st of Searing - Evitrix Descends
In the wake of the return of the Living Gods, Evitrix -- the Goddess of War -- looms over Nivenhain like a watchful overseer, appearing within the confines of a large iridescent shell of metal and machinery. For two days she lingers, and all across the country the unheard of occurs: sand dunes grow within the mounds of snow, blizzards are replaced with vortexes of eroded earth, which tear down forests and leave small patches of desert in their wake. People come out into the streets by the hundreds of thousands to pray and beg for forgiveness, so many that the Omen cannot even begin to attempt their arrest. On the third day of Searing, she emerges from her metal cocoon, levitating onto the spires of Nivenhain-1 and presenting herself to Castle Wight. There, she meets with the Kaiser and Queen, and shortly after summons the Archlectors of Lorien to come to the palace to speak to her at once.

11th of Searing - Publication of Divinity
Quickly, word of Evitrix's meetings spread, largely because she demands their proliferation through the Rien press. Unwilling to upset a God, even the Omen concedes to her demands, and they do not restrict the free movement of this news. Her meetings with the rulers of Rien society are widely known. Within them, Evitrix demands an end to the Rien civil war. She does not proclaim any particular side, because she does not imagine there to be any; she levies the armies and navies of Lorien for her own purposes, considering such power to be within her prerogative as a divine creator. The Omen is ruthless in its attempt to negotiate, but Evitrix subverts their attempts each time, and before long the heads of those she considers "sinister influences" hang over the banisters of Castle Wight.

29th of Searing - First Mandate
On the 29th of Searing, it is proclaimed in Nivenhain and across Lorien that all citizens of the Kingdom are to attend ceremonies within their local churches, cathedrals and lecture halls around the Faith of the Living Gods -- the Path -- and the creation of Atharen. Out of the woodwork come thousands of priests and acolytes, often accompanied by Noradac (spirits) of Evitrix that help to demonstrate the divine power of the Adac. While millions across the Kingdom appear to be tense about such requirements, many others enjoy it; these heathen sermons are performed in the very halls of the churches built by the Omen, to herald a God known as the Returning King. To many, the powerlessness the Omen demonstrates in being able to stop Evitrix from completely dominating them acts as a final proof of the Returning King's falsehood.

46th of Searing - Ceasefire
After a month and a half of negotiations, the Duchies of Lorien announce an official ceasefire. The leaders of the various factions of the civil war bow to the Kaiser, and strangely, Evitrix encourages them to bow to the Archlector as well. Through sheer threat of total devastation, stability is returned to Lorien, though like an eagle Evitrix appears to remain.

77th of Searing - Abscond
Amidst all of the negotiations and the spreading of this news, Von Rabe is not seen even once throughout all of Searing 4622. No Omen can communicate with him, not even the Archlector of Nivenhain, and even the Kindred seem to be lost without his guidance. On the 77th of Searing, Evitrix herself rallies "Lorien's most capable" to wade into the world of Frost, Tundraec's (Von Rabe's) homeland to find him. Expected to launch in the season of Ash, the expedition is made known to many, though few across the Kingdom volunteer.
