Influence: A dangerous figure in the Entente, Veir Kreine is known for his industry surrounding spycraft, intelligence dealing and blackmail. As a Malformist specializing in insects, Aluicious has mastered the art of poisons, often generated from his own blood. He offers these as a select, secondary service to the rare few who can afford it. Most of the people in his employ have worked for other Veirs, plucked from the stock of scullery maids, stableboys and butlers with sharp ears. Like the insects he favors, he enjoys infiltrating the homes of others unseen and unheard, quietly gathering information to protect himself. He is considered a necessary evil along the Entente, the sort of man everyone needs but no one associates with publicly.
Description: Aluicious is tall, imposing, and muscular. He is rather gender ambiguous, with a mixture of delicacy and strength to his figure that is not often so well balanced. Like his son, Vivian, he sports the same long, platinum blonde hair. He also shares Vivian’s blue eyes, though his left eye has been affected by a Malformity mutation, causing the sclera to be darkly colored. He places high emphasis on his appearance, with strict regimens in place regarding his clothing, nails, skin and hair. Like the arachnids he favors, he prizes dangerous elegance.
However, his personality matches. Aluicious has a cruel streak a mile wide, and is known for making discreet trips to brothels and poor neighborhoods in Amoren to exercise his more brutal urges. Quietly cleaned up and paid off or buried, this habit hasn’t come back to bite him…yet.
He has sired a single son during one of these nights out. The unfortunate whore involved was determined to wring money or support out of the Veir, demanding that he support his son. Fed up with the letters, Aluicious returned to rid himself of the woman and the son he whelped on her. Vivian survived Aluicious’ attempt to kill him through initiation. Vivian’s mother was not so fortunate.
Aluicious’ estate, the House of Silk, is smaller compared to other estates but much more intricate. Traps surround every door, window, vault and hallway, and have been the bane of many an aspiring sneak thief. If that wasn’t bad enough, Aluicious makes a hobby of breeding spiders, and it isn’t uncommon to find the occasional bloated maid who disturbed their rest.
